Chilean online protection startup Hackmetrix has raised a financing round of 1.5 million dollars. It has been driven by Cometa Ventures, and followed by Amador Holding, Hiro Capital, Rally Cap Ventures and Ark. Some business holy messengers have partaken in it, for example, David Buenfil, Santiago García, Domingo Guerra and Chuy Fernandez.
This capital increment is above and beyond on the startup’s way to solidify itself as a main network protection organization in Latin America. The Chilean startup looks to grow all through the mainland, and will dispatch new items and fortify its essence in Mexico.
Information from PWC’s Digital Trust Insights 2022 position Mexico as the second country with the biggest number of cyberattacks after Brazil. Likewise, 91% of Mexican organizations are focused on network safety during the pandemic.
The CEO of Hackmetrix, Adriel Araujo, has guaranteed that: “Mexico addresses an enormous chance on account of the all around notable Fintech Law, which set the trends for Latin America. The issue endured by little and medium-sized innovation organizations all through LATAM is that they are being estimated with the very guideline that corporate ones are estimated. As SMEs don’t have the monetary assets, nor the human resources to pass security reviews or conform to guidelines, deals and promoting endeavors become an exercise in futility and assets that they most certainly don’t have overabundance. ”
In 2018, business people Adriel Araujo and Alejandro Parodi chose to set up Hackmetrix to offer security answers for new companies. The pandemic furnished them with another business opportunity, as huge partnerships and government establishments started to work with independent ventures and, because of the pace of cybercrime, organizations of all sizes had to carry out security programs.
Its consistence stage arranges and works with the execution of safety programs (as indicated by ISO 27001 and PCI DSS). This permits new businesses and different organizations to conform to guidelines, acquire accreditations and effectively line up with the security necessities of any corporate customer. In this manner, they fortify their security and can adjust it, to meet their principle objective: development.
