Feminine hygiene brand Sanfe has raised $ 1 million as part of its Series A round from LetsVenture and a group of founders in the direct-to-consumer space.

The company will use the funds to expand into new markets, as well as to introduce new product lines. Sanfe will also use the capital for marketing and is working on partnerships and collaborations to increase the brand’s presence and remembrance among the target audience.

“Our investors have greatly helped us realize our vision with their guidance and deep involvement. It has helped ensure that we remain true to our mission of being a voice and choice for women’s intimate wellness and hygiene. This year, we are going to expand the business, build a strong product portfolio with new categories, focus on customer experience and problem solving. Therefore, it will create a better world for women, “said Harry Sehrawat, Co-Founder of Sanfe.

Sanfe is a direct-to-customer (D2C) brand that sells products in all categories, including intimate skin care, body grooming, and period care. It also offers feminine body grooming products such as facial razors, body razors, and trimmers.

Sanfe’s online business has grown 55% in the current quarter, he said in a statement.

The company has registered impressive growth in the last two years and is poised for further momentum in the years to come.

Previously, Sanfe had raised $ 1 million in Pre-Series A funds from Titan Capital and other high-profile investors.

“Sanfe is certainly doing well with his approach to connecting with women as his ‘all-time companion’ for their different bodily needs without hesitation. We have seen a drastic boom in the D2C space due to the ongoing pandemic and there is an increase in demand for intimate skin care, menstrual hygiene and body grooming specially made for women. We believe that consumer needs are evolving and to meet those needs it is crucial to have a brand like Sanfe that caters to the needs of women unnoticed, “said Sunitha Ramaswamy, president of early-stage investment at LetsVenture.

Currently, Sanfe is focused on expanding its reach through feminine hygiene and wellness products; as well as aiming for greater market penetration.
