Recently, Wúru, an Argentine healthtech that optimizes the flow of patients in health care providers, closed a round of seed capital for USD 800,000. Among the investors who led the collection are Kalei Ventures, Ciro Ventures, Promedon Group and Incutex, among others. In this way, the startup reaches USD 1,000,000 raised in investments.
The company, which is already present in Argentina, Spain and Chile, indicated that the funds will be used to fulfill one of its strategic objectives as a startup: international consolidation. In addition, it will use the investment to incorporate new talent and develop the new version of its product, which deepens in the automation of processes to detect opportunities and draw up improvement plans.
“Health needs, and is undergoing, a digital transformation that requires revolutionary and challenging technology companies to empower it,” said Luciano Tourn, co-founder and CEO of Wúru. “In this sense, our task consists of collecting millions of data originated in the itinerary of each patient to enhance the productivity and experience of the provider, thus guaranteeing that all management decisions can be made based on evidence,” he added.
Founded in 2018 and made up of a team that has more than 50 years of accumulated experience in health, Wúru offers a solution that optimizes the flow of patients in healthcare providers through data analysis and machine learning.
In this way, it increases the ability of the care team to drive efficiency, increase asset utilization and improve the patient experience in providing healthcare.
Using artificial intelligence, the platform is able to consolidate all the “digital marks” that the patient leaves in a standard care process, ranging from the medical consultation to a potential treatment, and understanding in each instance the points that require immediate attention by part of providers and suppliers in order to guarantee efficiency, clinical quality and an optimal experience for patients and professionals.
